The pioneer of basketball history in Lithuania and a notable coach, he invited well-known Lithuanian-American basketball players Pranas Talzūnas, Feliksas Kriaučiūnas, and Juozas Žukas to Kaunas to share their basketball knowledge. In 1936, he published a book titled “Basketball” in Kaunas and wrote articles on sports in the magazine “Physical Education”.
