Over the course of several decades, Romualdas Brazauskas established himself as one of the world’s leading basketball referees. His collection includes balls from key tournaments: the Olympic Games in Barcelona (1992), Atlanta (1996), Sydney (2000, final), and Beijing (2008, final); as well as from European Championships held in Athens, Barcelona, Paris, Istanbul, and Poland, where he refereed the 2009 final. The collection also holds balls from World Championships and the Goodwill Games. At the heart of the exhibition is the Golden Whistle, awarded by FIBA in 2010 — at the time, only the second such honor ever granted worldwide. This is the highest recognition in the international basketball officiating community — a symbol of professionalism, integrity, and lifelong dedication to the game.
