Olympic champion (1988) and European champion (1985). Silver medalist at the World Championship (1985). Bronze medalist at the Olympic Games (1992, 1996). Silver (1995) and bronze (1989) medalist at the European Championship. The only Lithuanian to participate in the NBA All-Star Three-Point Contest (received a special invitation in 1989). A successful coach, he has won the European Cup three times (2009, 2012, and 2015).
